Schaltkulisse Auto redefines the traditional car showroom through a refined, European lens. Located in Miami, this 5,000-square-foot interior renovation transforms a utilitarian space into a curated experience that blends automotive passion with hospitality and design.
The renovation introduces a newly constructed loft, creating a dedicated workspace that overlooks the showroom below. The main floor is finished in warm wood planks, grounding the space with natural texture while showcasing the collection of luxury automobiles in an understated yet sophisticated setting. A custom-designed hospitality bar anchors the lounge area, paired with leather-upholstered furnishings, a curated library wall, and atmospheric lighting—inviting clients to linger and engage.
Every element was crafted to reflect the client’s distinctive brand ethos: one rooted in craftsmanship, heritage, and discreet luxury. From the custom lighting plan to the tailored material palette, the design supports a seamless customer experience that feels more like a private club than a retail environment.
As Architect of Record, the firm oversaw the project from initial concept to completion in February 2024, ensuring that each detail honored the precision and passion at the heart of the automotive brand.
